My non-existent readers, do you remember that post about me not missing my university but I will remember it? I wrote that thinking once I finish my course I'll be out of here.
Well nope~. I'm still going to be studying the next year. Bleh.
Life just throws surprises at you.
Everyday thoughts I have go here. If you related, I hope you had a good 2 minutes reading them

Self Defence
Lately, I've been in conflict about what to do in self defence if someone broke into my house. I was advised to just hold a weapon and tell the intruder to leave, as if they are coming into the house just to steal stuff, they will usually chicken out and leave.
But what if they retaliate? What do I do then?
I know I should fight back, I don't want to die, but how much should I fight back. I want to live but I don't want a dead body on my hands.
I've contemplated on possible weapons. Knives? Threatening, but nope. Heavy pan? Yeah, but what if I hit them too hard? Head them hard enough on the head and they'll be dead instead of unconscious. Hands? Pft, I'm a weakling...
I was giving this box with a button that if I press it, it will make a loud noise and supposedly scare the intruder off. Yeah...but I need a second option.
So, nonexistant readers, what would you use as a weapon without commiting murder? Any suggestions?

Of being open and opening
I was reading a fanfiction some day before and I came across this issue. Two characters were in an argument. One was saying how the other was so evasive and never answered anything directly or even at all. The other took offence and replied by saying that it was the fault of the other for not asking the right questions.
So in the end, I wondered. Who is the one at fault here? Should it be the fault of the one asking for not trying harder to open the other up, or is the fault of the one hiding for not being open?
Maybe it's both?

Kingdom Hearts Timeline
I watched a documentary of the KH franchise and plot timeline yesterday.
It was one of the best hours I've wasted in my productive life. Ahhh~~~~ I wish I had a PS3

Use of Multiple Social Medias
I am to search up a library site which uses multiple social medias and talk about the information posted in each; what is posted, is it the same, what is it used for.
So I found Melbourne Library:
http://www.melbourne.vic.gov.au/melbournelibraryservice/Pages/MelbourneLibraryService.aspx
The use Facebook, Twitter, and Flickr.
Taking a stroll through them all, Facebook and Twitter are similar to each other. As both as text based social medias, Facebook and Twitter post advertisements for their library of opening hours and events that are happening at their organisation. As Twitter has a character count, they are much more brief and to the point there. Facebook is much more detailed coupled with a larger character count and pictures. However, there is no difference in information.
However, Facebook has a much more personal use from their staff members, as I view some posts about slow internet or simply saying hello. Twitter is purely advertisements and is more informative whereas Facebook is much more casual. If you actually wanted to communicate with the library community, you'd best do that on Facebook.
Therefore, using both, the library can reach out to a larger audience, Twitter mainly to inform and Facebook to connect with their patrons.
Flickr stands out from the rest, partly because it's barely seen. Flickr is where the library community posts images and images only on progress or events at the library. Currently they are posting construction images of a new floor they are building. Flickr is if you want a more inside look at new happens in the library that is a bit more personal than official and formal events.

To all my non-existent readers
I realize I haven't been posting many posts about life in general lately. I'm sorry for all those that miss my cynicism but university is nearing an end and I am racing to finish all my projects in time, leaving no room in my pessimistic brain for deep philosophical thoughts. So I'll mostly likely not be here for the rest of the year and any posts that so come on are going to be strictly school related. So move along lovelies, and I'll see you all soon.

Found a dying rose the other day
The stem was cut and the rose was drying out since it was a bud and not bloomed enough to turn brown.
I found it rather beautiful so I cut the bud and took it home.
There's just something eerily tranquil about the death of a flower where it doesn't change. The petals darkened in colour to a near black and the petals curl elegantly and harden.
It looks delicate yet is course to the touch.
I get poetic over roses. Yes, now you know.

Was eating noodles today...
...and I realized something people do.
I see people eat the noodles but they NEVER drink the soup.
Why?! D8 It's such a waste!
