Those UGH moments

Ever have days when it's absolutely great, nothing went wrong, you did nothing all day, but you feel tired and generally down for no reason. Yeah, feeling it today.

Being a "subscriber"

You know what sucks about being a fan of someone on the internet? Be it their art, videos, or stories?

When they disappear, that's it. They're gone, and you'll usually have no idea what happened.

You may be the largest fan of their stuff, but at the end of the day, you are usually strangers, and when they disappear into their lives and out of yours and the internet's, there is nothing you can do about it.

I'm a deviantarter and I was surfing through all those I watched and many of them have been gone for two years without a single goodbye, and I have no idea where they've gone. It's just a thought I was having.

Just remembered reading Little Women when I was still in primary last night.

My favourite chapter was chapter 8, the one about Amy and Jo's book. The guilt trip in that chapter was real and I enjoyed reading the first half about Amy's guilt.

Then the second half happened and she's a snob.

So let me tell you of the food I had at the Kitchen Workshop

Cream of Broccoli... There is cream and then there is broccoli...

Don't give me ish that tastes of nothing but pure warm rich cream. So you had tiny, and I mean tiny, bits of broccoli floating amongst the cream. It does not make it a soup.

Dear Mother noticed I didn't get any meat on my first plate as well because of the bowl of Cream of Broccoli taking up half my plate, so she gave me her ham. Nice, salty, surprisingly soft ham that almost resembles Spam, almost. But it had this odd sauce on top. I thought it was sweet and sour sauce or a kind of gravy, so I spread it all over my ham and ate.

Nope. It tasted of apples. It was apple sauce. Ever tried mixing salt and apple juice together? Yeah. Maybe it's me but they didn't go together as well as it sounds, and this is from an apple lover.

That, in turn, ruined my dessert of jelly, the red jelly being way too tart and the fruit jely just tasting sugary instead of fruity =w=''

Well. SO much for enjoying a buffet.

I gained a kilo from it though. So WOOO for me.

The creation of Ladonia man...

Once there was an artist who built two structures in two difficult to reach places so they weren't discovered for two years.

Two years later, they were discovered, and declared to be buildings by the Swedish and must be torn down as they were built in a natural reserve where that wasn't allowed. The artist appealed, but the council had the Swedish government's favour.

So he just said eff it, ima make Ladonia out of protest. XD

And they are still going strong. It's been five years and they have a government and even a Queen. Good on them.

The Hetalian Fandom

I've been in the fandom since I was in ninth grade, and today, I was just reminded at how good the fandom is to me.

I am proud to be a Hetalian, and as long as the world is alive, the fandom will live on evolving and bring many different people closer.

Anyone know that Big W ad about the toy sale on Jne 25? The one where the kid is in space trying to get into his ship and his cat won't let him in? And the ad ends with the kid screaming "STEVE!!"

That kid is dead.... going to float about in space until he dies of hunger or oxygen deprivation and all because of a cat. That kind of thing shouldn't be for kids. It wasn't even mentioning anything the toy prices.

The Nostalgia

I'm a hardcore roleplayer, I've been roleplaying for nearly a decade, and I decided to email an old friend that I haven't talked to in years; the one that helped me start it all. It's been so long I didn't think she'd remember me, or the silly little fun we had.

How surprised I was to get a reply almost instantly, and to hear that she did remember me after all these years.

It's very bittersweet.

Make your subs make sense

So I ended up watching a segment of some anime called Norigami or some ish with my sister. It was some episode where some blonde dude had eyes on his back and he was being cleansed even though the cleansing did absolutely nothing and it was the power of friendship that helped him in the end. There were all these strange flashbacks and some black haired dude was like to some blonde haired dude "This is why I fell for you." But then my sister tells me "NO, he's not in love."

...Wut?

So I watch further and the blonde haired dude is admitting his sins of breaking windows and telling lies and stealing cash and then he mentions how he tried to "feel up Hiyori". So I said "Oh! So he tried to sexually assault someone." And my sister replies "NO, that's not what feeling up means. I won't explain it to you as I'm too tired, you have to watch the anime yourself to understand."

...WUT?

If your anime has characters that spout nonsense that does not make sense, if I cannot trust what they are saying to be true, then I don't wanna watch your anime.

Make sure your subs make sense.

Captain Murderer

I finally found the title of an old fairy tale that is my favourite, and doesn't seem that well known. It is a story of matrimonial treachery and revenge~~ I'll share it here for those that don't want to look it up.

There is a man named Captain Murderer whom is always marrying women. Skipping the methods in which he courts them, which include making love and proposing in different carriages or something like that, after the wedding ceremony and honeymoon, he takes her back to his house and says that it is tradition for his wives to make a pie crust to bake a pie for him. If the wife didn't know how, she was taught.

The wife watches Captain bring out ingredients for the pie crust in copious amounts, yet she sees no filling for the pie. She asks the Captain what kind of pie they were making. The Captain laughed a might laugh and replied, "A meat pie!" However, the new wife looked around and couldn't find any meat. Asking where the meat was, the Captain humorously replied "Look in the glass." The wife looks at the looking glass across from her but sees no meat.

She rolls out the pie crust and lines the giant pie dish when she hears her husband speak. "I see meat in the glass!" And the wife looks up just in time to see the Captain pull out his sword and take off her head. Then he sliced her up, peppered and salted her and put her in the pie, and send it off to the bakers to be baked, and ate it and picked the bones clean.

The Captain is looking for a new wife and begins to decide between two sisters, a fair one and a dark one, Both of equal beauty. In the end, the Captain chose the fair skinned sister, for she loved him and the dark one hated him.

But the dark sister was suspicious and crept to his house after the honeymoon; and she watches him take off her sisters head and cut her up, peppering and salting her and picking her bones clean. So she devises a way to get revenge for her sister. She goes to his house the next day and says "Please marry me, for I am actually in love with you, and was jealous of my sister." The captain agreed and a wedding was quickly arranged.

After the honeymoon, the Captain gets her to make a pie crust for him, just like his other wives. But before he takes off her head, the dark sister had ingested a poison, brewed from toad's eyes and spider's knees. The Captain hadn't even managed to pick her bones clean when he turned blue and started swelling. And he swelled bigger and bigger, screaming until he finally exploded.

And that was the end of Captain Murderer.

This is simple a blog that I made for a school project which I grew attached to and come to write down any thoughts I generally have during the day or in the toilet or shower.

My best thoughts occur during the toilet or shower.

I like a good ramble or a thought splurge and maybe a good conversation is anyone ever comments.

It's the internet everyone...

You know the struggle one who grew up with the internet has when dealing with someone who DIDN'T grow up with the internet?

Particularly YouTube.

How do you explain to someone a person simply playing a video game isn't a bad person just because they swear. I'm watching someone play a game, review stuff, just talking about general things, and I can't watch freely because they swear. It's quite the hassle.

And I know it's responsible when said swearer responds with Ï'm not going to change my swearing habits, it's who I am. It's up to your parents to decide what you watch" but PFFFFFT!! Might as well rip the internet out and take away their devices because PFFFFFT!

Just a small ramble. I'm dealing with parents who can't even handle the word "damn". They can't even handle the cuss word being beeped out because it doesn't change the fact it exists and the entire video has been ruined forever.

An introvert's struggle

I don't go out unless I have to. Probably 70 percent of my life is in my room. But when I do want to go out, could everyone stop telling me about the stuff that could happen outside? The reason I am an introvert in the first place is because I am aware that the world consists of murderers, rapists, con artists and just plain bad people mixing in and disguising themselves as normal every day good people. Don't complain about how I don't go out and then make it difficult for me when I try.
